About Us

Basil Balfe started in the television installation industry in 1970 and went on to launch BB Alarms in 1989, and now, together with his son, Basil Jr., provides a security installation service that is recommended for its professionalism, integrity, and quality of service.

BB Alarms specialise in the installation, maintenance and support of Electronic Security, Access Control, and CCTV systems, for all types of private, commercial and industrial requirements throughout counties Meath, Louth, Cavan, Westmeath, Carlow and Dublin.

BB Alarms sets itself very high and exacting professional standards - more importantly, our customers appreciate and recognise the value of those standards and accreditations and this is reflected in our loyal customer base, which keeps on growing.

BB Alarms have been audited by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI). Under the PSA (Private Security Services Act 2004), it is against the law to employ an unlicensed provider of security services. (for more information click here)
